Where have I been?!?!  Finally a video update to start getting back on the wagon!  Its good I have been busy with doing business but videos need to be part of my routine and really a part of most online marketing efforts, so get back on the wagon if your like me!

In the social Media world Twitter is a big thing!  But should you be on Twitter?

This will all depend on your target market.  Who else in your area is on Twitter, and how do you connect with these people.  If you are in my area in the Northwest Suburbs of the Twin Cities Twitter is great for getting your content out if you have a blog and use Facebook.  It really depends on where you are and what you are doing.

You can spend (waste) a lot of time on Social Media sites if you don't have a plan going into on what you are going to post and how many people you are going to interact with. You should be able to spend 15 minutes a day on Facebook and accomplish what you want.  Twitter can take 15 minutes as well and maybe up to 30 minutes if you are really focusing on interacting.  That may seem like a lot of time but if thats part of your business generating plan

Have no fear!  A reminder to get going on that video blog!  When I started video blogging thats when I started to get more solid leads and business from social media marketing!  Watch this short video for the details:

Social Media is POWERFUL!  Its a great way to build relationships with people.  You do this by being there, interacting and being a part of the conversation.  Once people know, like and trust you then can tell them more about your product or service!  More details in the video!

The title really sums it up!  To start your video blog just start doing it!  You will get better!  If you have a video you want to put out but are a little nervous about it - I say go ahead and get it out there. You will get better! It takes practice and you need to start somewhere!

This video was originally done mostly for a real estate audience, but its true for any audience...Video blogging can be easier for a lot of people who don't like writing. You just need ideas.  Keep a note pad with you and write down the ideas that come to mind. When you have a couple minutes, turn the camera on and share them. One key to getting more business is to have more interaction on your Facebook page and profile. I use my profile more to get interaction.  This video shows you what I do to get more interaction on my page.  I do this by asking questions that I feel people will respond to!  Now I show up in more peoples Top News Feed on Facebook.
