You can spend (waste) a lot of time on Social Media sites if you don't have a plan going into on what you are going to post and how many people you are going to interact with. You should be able to spend 15 minutes a day on Facebook and accomplish what you want. Twitter can take 15 minutes as well and maybe up to 30 minutes if you are really focusing on interacting.
